NRA BLENDED BASIC PISTOL SHOOTING COURSE
The NRA Blended Basic Pistol Shooting Course is a NEW online curriculum that puts the control of the flow and speed of the course into your hands. Register online, pay online and complete PHASE 1 of the course all on your own schedule.
Then, once you’re ready, contact a certified NRA instructor to meet you at the range of your choosing to complete PHASE 2 and claim your bragging rights, certificate and confidence of knowing you have moved into the realm of being a trained and knowledgeable gun owning citizen.
Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, and two handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development.

YOUTH MARKSMANSHIP WORKSHOP
(aka Youth “Run & Gun Kamp”)
The request have been overwhelming so here it is. A course designed for youth ages 9-15 that focuses on the core skills needed to safely and effectively master the basics of pistol marksmanship. This course is a 4-8 hour workshop for your children to get hands on experience with non-lethal firearms such as paintball guns, airsoft handguns, SIRT laser pistols and CO2 operated pistols. Designed to teach safety this course provides the fundamentals to build confidence in your child when faced with encountering a gun In the home. Our instructors follow a proven step-by-step instruction method that ensures your child develops a safe and solid foundation from which to properly interact around guns, employ safe marksmanship techniques and engage targets in a range setting safely and effectively.
The workshop includes lunch and a snack, numerous hands-on activities, 1on1 instruction and marksmanship lanes for your child to navigate to employ all of their recently acquired skills. And yes, there’s even a zombie target or two in there for them to engage,……just in case a Zombie apocalypse happens in our lifetime:-)
Completion certificates and marksmanship patches are awarded at the end of the day.

NORTH CAROLINA CONCEALED CARRY HANDGUN COURSE
This is a no-nonsense concealed carry handgun course for experienced handgun owners. Course standards are elevated as well as requirements for successful completion. This pistol course gives you hands-on experience in pistol manipulation and handgun safety. The 10-hour course is designed to make you a safe private gun owner and knowledgeable citizen who can legally carry a concealed handgun in North Carolina. You will learn the laws governing North Carolina concealed carry and Use of Force, fundamentals of safe gun handling, marksmanship fundamentals, gun maintenance/storage, and ammunition basics. Students will receive the North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun Training Guide, be required to pass a Basics of Pistol Shooting written Pre- Examination as well as take a North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun written student examination and a North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun Marksmanship Proficiency examination. A passing score of 85% or higher is required on all three test. Upon completion each student will receive the North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun certificate.

NRA REFUSE TO BE A VICTIM SEMINAR
Improve your personal safety strategies with NRA’s Refuse To Be A Victim Program. Criminals prefer easy targets. By making yourself more difficult to prey upon, you lessen your risk of criminal attack. That means having a personal safety strategy in place before you need it. Through a four-hour seminar (shorter presentations are available) called Refuse To Be A Victim you can learn the personal safety tips and techniques you need to avoid dangerous situations and avoid becoming a victim. The Workshop covers topics that pertain to both men and women. The information covered is appropriate for young adults to senior citizens. In addition, the Refuse To Be A Victim program materials also include a special teaching module for parents which discusses tips for children ages pre-school to college. Women-only seminars are also available.

NRA FIRST STEPS PISTOL ORIENTATION
The NRA FIRST Steps Pistol ORIENTATION COURSE is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation to one specific pistol action type for classes of four or fewer students. This course is at least three hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot a specific pistol action type. Students will learn the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; the particular pistol model parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, and upon completion receive the FIRST Steps Course completion certificate.

NRA BASIC PERSONAL PROTECTION IN THE HOME COURSE
The NRA Basic Personal Protection in the Home Course is an 8-10 hour course. Students should expect to shoot approximately 100 rounds of ammunition. This course is for law-abiding adult citizens, as defined by applicable federal, state, or local law, and experienced shooters (shooters able to show mastery of the basic skills of safe gun handling, shooting a group, zeroing the firearm, and cleaning the firearm) to maximize what can be learned from this course. Students will learn basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation, firearms and the law, how to choose a handgun for self-defense, and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Personal Protection In The Home handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, the Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, and upon completion receive the NRA Basic Personal Protection in the Home course certificate.

NRA BASIC PERSONAL PROTECTION OUTSIDE THE HOME COURSE
The NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home is divided into two levels (basic and advanced). The course teaches students the knowledge, skills and attitude essential for avoiding dangerous confrontations and for the safe, effective and responsible use of a concealed pistol for self-defense outside the home. Students have the opportunity to attend this course using a quality strong side hip holster that covers the trigger, or a holster purse. From a review of safe firearms handling and proper mindset to presentation from concealment and multiple shooting positions, this course contains the essential skills and techniques needed to prevail in a life-threatening situation. Level one is a nine-hour course and offers the essential knowledge and skills that must be mastered in order to carry, store, and use a firearm safely and effectively for personal protection outside the home. Upon completion of level one, students may choose to attend level two, which is an additional five hours of range training and teaches advanced shooting skills. After the classroom portion, students should expect to spend several hours on the range and shoot approximately 100 rounds of ammunition during level one. Level two involves five additional hours on the range and approximately 115 rounds of ammunition. The ammunition requirements are minimum and may be exceeded. Students will receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Personal Protection Outside The Home handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure and the appropriate course completion certificates(s), NRA Basic Personal Protection Outside The Home (identifies strong-side hip holster or purse use) certificate, and NRA Advanced Personal Protection Outside The Home certificate.

NRA BASIC RIFLE SHOOTING COURSE
The NRA Basic Rifle Shooting Course is at least 14 hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot rifles. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; rifle parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest, prone, sitting, standing and kneeling positions; cleaning, and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Rifle Shooting Student Examination, and upon completion receive the NRA Basic Rifle Shooting course certificate

This 10-14 hour course is designed to make you a better pistol shooter, safe private gun owner and knowledgeable citizen who can legally carry a concealed handgun in North Carolina. 2/3 of the course is primarily classroom based while the remaining 1/3 of the class is dedicated to SIRT laser training and one-on-one instruction on the gun range. You will learn the fundamentals of safe gun handling, marksmanship fundamentals, gun maintenance/storage, ammunition basics and the laws governing North Carolina concealed carry and use of Force.
